■Overview midas eGen is a comprehensive structural analysis software equipped with new modeling features based on CAD. It allows for modeling using CAD information, enabling the creation of free-form shapes without the need to directly input dimension values. All placement and shape editing of components is performed in a three-dimensional space, allowing for visual and intuitive operations while directly checking the model. Additionally, the concept of "layer groups" has been introduced, which allows for the classification of components by their associated layers, enabling designers to automatically process calculations for layer irregularities that they have previously considered separately, thus facilitating quick and rational design.
