Structure of the Air End of High-Performance Screw Compressors - Stainless Fine Rotor The rotor, processed with high-precision tooth surface grinding, is made from a special stainless steel that excels in corrosion resistance and durability. Additionally, to minimize internal leakage, a mirror finish is applied, taking into account thermal expansion during operation to ensure optimal gaps. - High-Performance Rotor Profile The rotors, exposed to discharge temperatures exceeding 300°C in single-stage machines and over 200°C in two-stage machines, experience significant thermal expansion. To accommodate this thermal expansion and maintain optimal gaps during operation, Hitachi's unique three-dimensional correction technology is applied. - High-Performance Solid Lubrication Coating Furthermore, a solid lubrication coating is applied to the rotors to further reduce gaps between the metals and enhance performance.
