It is a low-loss type that keeps no-load loss (standby power) low. By sharing single-phase and three-phase iron cores, it can reduce no-load loss compared to conventional single-phase and three-phase transformers. It has flexibility in power distribution. When either single-phase or three-phase is used at a small capacity, it allows for greater use of the other capacity, providing flexibility in power distribution. Additionally, within the range of the load distribution curve, lighting and power loads can be selected arbitrarily. Space-saving design that serves two functions with one unit. By covering the functions of both single-phase and three-phase transformers with one transformer, it reduces the installation floor area and the effort required for installation compared to using both types in combination.
