Traditionally, methods such as manual transport, monorails, aerial tramways, and helicopters have been used; however, depending on site conditions, issues such as increased burden on workers, prolonged preparation periods, rising costs, and safety risks may arise. Our company utilizes large transport drones to assist in the transportation of materials in mountainous areas, steep slopes, and areas difficult for vehicles to access. By conducting preliminary site surveys, measurements, and setting automated flight routes, we can develop safe transportation plans tailored to site conditions, enabling efficient loading and unloading operations. In particular, the use of drones is expected to be beneficial in infrastructure projects such as aging countermeasures for transmission towers, maintenance inspections, disaster recovery work, repair work around power plants and dams, and the removal of felled trees.

"Transportation of Materials and Equipment for Aging Deterioration Countermeasures at Mountainous Transmission Towers" In the aging deterioration countermeasure work for transmission towers located in mountainous areas, materials and equipment such as insulators, fittings, and tools were transported using drones. This project involved multiple towers, with a total transportation weight exceeding 10 tons. With an average operating time of 5 hours per day, approximately 2.0 tons were transported. By combining the simultaneous operation of two drones, which is not commonly adopted in other industries, we were able to shorten the construction period. After the lifting was completed, we also utilized the same method for the post-construction unloading and transportation, successfully completing the drone transportation service.
