SM1202 20kN tensile testing machine (with PC connection kit)
The tabletop tensile testing machine, specially designed for educational purposes, applies a load of up to 20 kN using a rotary handle hydraulic pump for tensile and compression tests. The test load is displayed in kilonewtons (kN) on a large, easy-to-read gauge and recorded (with a needle indicator) for maximum load. The tensile elongation or compression shortening of the test specimen is measured with a digital dial gauge with an accuracy of 0.001 mm. The test specimens for tensile testing (with a diameter of 5.0 mm) can be easily attached to the device using a screw type (M10), and five different types of specimens made from various materials are available (mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper). Additionally, the structure allows for compression testing on a φ50 mm receiving surface at the center of the testing machine. A PC connection kit (SM1250) is included, allowing for observation and data collection of load (N) and elongation values (mm) on a computer (sold separately).
