Dispersion-strengthened copper ◆GLIDCOP AL-60◆ A copper alloy that exhibits unparalleled performance.
Glidcop is a non-heat-treated copper alloy system that is reinforced with ultra-fine alumina oxide particles, possessing unique properties of high strength and high conductivity, which are typically contradictory in other copper alloy systems. Another characteristic of Glidcop is the stability of the alumina oxide particles even under high-temperature conditions. Even when exposed to high temperatures for extended periods, the alumina oxide particles prevent the crystallization coarsening and recrystallization of the particles, maintaining the toughness of the copper matrix. Glidcop offers specifications with varying oxide content to allow for a wide selection of strength and conductivity based on application needs. ★ Features and Benefits: - Extremely strong resistance to recrystallization and softening due to heating - High electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity - High tensile strength and yield strength at room temperature - High strength at elevated temperatures - High stress fracture strength at elevated temperatures - Non-weldability during resistance welding of coated steel - Resistance to degradation from radiation
