In preventing occupational accidents, the "buddy system" (pairing two people) is recommended for heatstroke measures at work sites for safety and welfare checks. However, due to labor shortages in construction, manufacturing, and logistics, the buddy system (mutual monitoring) is considered difficult to implement in practice. Technoband has implemented a "buddy function" that allows for mutual health and safety monitoring even when workers are apart on site. With the buddy function, alerts can be received among Technobands by setting up designated individuals to be notified in advance when heatstroke or health and safety risks arise. This enables quick welfare checks and rescue responses within the work site.
