By preventing tall grass from growing next to the stairs, it has become easier to spot pedestrians. Maintaining a low grass height ensures continued safety.
At the crosswalk located at the junction of the national road, tall overgrown weeds were obstructing the view. Therefore, as a countermeasure against the weeds in the stair area, we have experimentally installed an erosion control sheet to ensure visibility. Prior to the installation, we conducted grass cutting and removal of the topsoil. ■ Installation Location: Shizuoka Prefecture ■ Installation Date: April 2024 Japan Vegetation strives to be attentive to each site, whether it be for rockfall prevention from slopes, vegetation mats/sheets, riverbank protection, parks/green spaces, and more.
