We would like to introduce a case that adopted the "Conback Method" for the construction of a cast-in-place foundation in the existing bridge pier's lower protective layer in a narrow construction area. To allow construction machinery to enter, it was necessary to implement temporary river enclosures and pump out water. However, carrying out temporary river diversions required significant costs and time, and there was a desire for a protective layer construction method that could be executed without diverting the river.
