Corrosion and damage investigation (appearance, cross-section, fracture surface observation)
We will observe the appearance, cross-section, and fracture surface to investigate the cause of the trouble!
As part of our investigation into the causes of various equipment troubles, we conduct "visual observation," "cross-sectional observation," and "fracture surface observation" of equipment components to identify the causes of the issues. In visual observation, we examine the components with defects from the outside to assess the degree of corrosion and the shape of the damage. In cross-sectional observation, we enlarge and observe the damaged components from the cross-section to confirm the progression of the damage and the metal structure. Additionally, in fracture surface observation, we enlarge and examine the fracture surfaces of the damaged components to identify the cause of the damage based on the traces. [Overview] ■ Visual Observation: Examine visually to assess the degree of corrosion and the shape of the damage ■ Cross-sectional Observation: Enlarge and observe from the cross-section to confirm the progression of the damage and the metal structure ■ Fracture Surface Observation: Enlarge and observe the fracture surface to identify the cause of the damage based on traces *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
