Nonlinear static analysis conducted on the behavior of diaphragm springs! Reproduction of the jumping phenomenon.
We would like to introduce our analysis titled "Behavior Analysis of Diaphragm Springs Using Nonlinear Static Analysis." When a load is applied to a disc spring, the shape of the spring is complex, resulting in not only bending but also twisting and buckling. Additionally, the support conditions are not constant, making it impossible to determine the load and stress using simple cantilever beam theory. In this analysis example, we were able to reproduce the jumping phenomenon of a diaphragm spring used in automotive clutches by conducting nonlinear static analysis on its behavior. [Case Summary] ■ Analysis Type: Nonlinear Static Analysis ■ Analysis Result: Reproduction of bidirectional jumping deformation of the diaphragm spring *For more detailed information about the case, please refer to the related links.
