By equipping drones and UUVs with MagicEye at their tips, it is possible to detect and avoid fishing nets underwater without being affected by turbidity or conditions using ultrasound. This enables safe surveys even on complex seabeds with undulations and objects. It allows for the creation of seabed maps at speeds more than ten times faster than conventional methods.
