Ideal for loading and unloading areas such as factories! Suitable for use in places where pedestrians and forklifts work together, as well as at warehouse aisle exits.
The Pedestrian Alert System (PAS) is a cutting-edge technology designed to warn forklift operators of pedestrians within a customizable range of 1 to 11 meters. The feature of PAS is its ability to distinguish between people and objects, allowing it to identify individuals who may be hiding behind walls or shelves. ■ What are the functions of PAS? To facilitate pedestrian detection, individuals carry electronic key fobs or tags. When the PAS installed on the forklift detects a tag, it promptly alerts the driver with a visual warning signal. This enhanced recognition enables forklift operators to take appropriate precautions and ensure the safety of those nearby. ■ Where is PAS suitable? PAS is ideal not only for areas with limited visibility where interactions between pedestrians and forklifts are common but also for loading and unloading zones in warehouses and factories. It is strongly recommended for shared workspaces, such as production lines, where the movement of pedestrians and forklifts is restricted, and utmost care and caution are essential.
