We would like to introduce our case studies of the residual formwork method used in "Roads and Tunnels." We have implemented the construction of the Shuzenji Amagi Yugashima Line merger support priority road improvement project at the Numazu Civil Engineering Office in Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as disaster prevention work on the main local road Udezu Town Line at the Noto Civil Engineering Comprehensive Office in Ishikawa Prefecture. The National Formwork Industry Association conducts research and development on residual formwork and manufactures and sells residual formwork products across the country, with the participation of over 40 concrete companies nationwide. Residual formwork is used for various applications such as sediment control dams, tidal embankments, steep slope retaining walls, and riverbank protection.
