Applications in the ultraviolet region are on the rise. At Isuzu Seiko Glass Co., we have developed filter glass substrates (IHU series) that have a transmission limit wavelength in the ultraviolet range and improved weather resistance to ultraviolet light. Recently, we have successfully deposited dielectric multilayer films to create bandpass filters in the ultraviolet range, as shown in the chart (measured data).
