We would like to introduce a case study involving measurements taken with a 3D laser scanner. To carry out reinforcement work on the columns of a steel mill building, we received a request from a client who wanted to analyze the gap dimensions between the columns and the ceiling trusses without stopping the operating overhead crane, in order to consider the installation of temporary scaffolding.
