Can be constructed even in high humidity environments.
The Z Mortar KS500M method is a mortar lining technique that uses the high sulfuric acid-resistant mortar "Z Mortar KS500." By blending special powders derived from blast furnace slag, it exhibits excellent sulfuric acid resistance and achieves high strength. The corrosion prevention method using high sulfuric acid-resistant mortar is designed with a concept that allows for a reduction in cross-section, calculating the amount of cross-sectional reduction due to deterioration or the depth of carbonation, and setting a thickness for cross-sectional reduction that does not pose structural issues. Alternatively, it involves pre-thickening the cross-section and maintaining the facility's functionality through repeated repairs while conducting regular inspections. This method can be applied even in high-temperature environments and construction conditions with high moisture content in concrete, where conventional coating-type lining methods cannot be used. Since the overlapping process of the coating-type lining method is unnecessary, the construction process and curing period are shorter, leading to reduced construction time. The use of blast furnace slag makes it an environmentally friendly product that reduces the burden on the environment (reducing resources, energy, and CO2 emissions).

Nihon Jikkou is a core company of a comprehensive engineering group that contributes to society through the production and sale of various related materials, starting with concrete anti-corrosion construction. Japan is now entering an era of high prevalence of social infrastructure such as water supply and sewage systems, with a vast number of concrete facilities being stockpiled. However, as these facilities age and deteriorate, it has become an urgent issue to systematically and effectively implement repair and maintenance measures to sustain them in the future. Nihon Jikkou and its group companies address these challenges by proposing optimal deterioration prevention measures based on environmental factors and facility characteristics, along with excellent construction techniques, thereby meeting all maintenance and management needs for concrete structures.
