Cleaning of mesh conveyors! A case where manual cleaning work was eliminated and water usage was reduced by over 20%.
We would like to introduce a case study of a conveyor cleaning unit nozzle implemented at a certain sake brewery. At this brewery, a nozzle header with straight flow nozzles was swung to clean the mesh conveyor; however, this was insufficient, and additional cleaning was performed manually using a high-pressure handgun, which posed issues regarding the manpower required and the burden on the workers. Therefore, a rotating nozzle unit for conveyor cleaning was adopted, enabling the reliable cleaning and removal of rice grains stuck in the mesh, allowing for automatic cleaning.
