Densifying concrete and extending the lifespan of open channels!
When a silicate-based surface infiltrating material is applied to the surface of concrete, it penetrates the concrete surface and reacts with calcium hydroxide to produce "C-S-H gel (calcium silicate hydrate)." The synergistic effect of physical action from particle colloids and the chemical reaction (C-S-H gel) suppresses the intrusion of deterioration factors.

basic information
【Overview and Features of the Construction Method】 ■Surface Infiltration Method A method that involves applying a surface infiltration material to the concrete surface layer, with the primary effect being the repair effect provided by the surface infiltration material. ■Auxiliary Method A method aimed at improving the quality of the base material and inorganic surface coating materials by using it in conjunction with surface coating methods. 【Applicable Areas】 ■Water Contact Area: The top of the retaining wall where water flow comes into contact due to existing conditions is in the atmospheric zone; however, considering workability, it will be constructed as a unit with the inner surface of the side wall, thus defining the range of the water contact area. ■Atmospheric Zone: The area that is always in the atmosphere. 【Principally Excluded】 ■Bottom Plate Inner Surface: An area where carbonation is less likely to progress.

We modify concrete and joint cement to prevent the passage of water and deterioration factors by using our developed products, "Inner Coat" and "HB Seal." For civil engineering applications, we have developed "RCG Inner Silica" and the newly confirmed "RCG Inner Silica α." The coloring fades and loses color due to sunlight, so the aesthetics and landscape after construction do not change. Additionally, for exterior wall tiles that have deteriorated over time, we have started to handle the "Makuhari Newton Method," a technology that forms a strong transparent coating to prevent damage from falling exterior wall tiles to third parties. For waterproofing and deterioration prevention of concrete and tile finishes, please consult RCG Japan Co., Ltd. first.
