An example of being able to transport not only empty boxes but also parts, with approximately 180 round trips per day!
We would like to introduce a case study of the indoor general-purpose mobile robot "BUDDY" from SOCIAL ROBOTICS Co., Ltd., which was implemented in an assembly factory. The goal of the implementation was to entrust all transportation tasks of empty cardboard boxes, which were previously carried by humans, to the robot. The travel environment was poor, with a distance of 10-15 meters, but the robot managed to make approximately 180 round trips per day. The cost-effectiveness was also recovered within a year. 【Case Overview (Excerpt)】 ■ Implementation Date and Quantity: June 2022, 1 unit ■ Purpose of Implementation: Transportation of empty boxes within the factory ■ Implementation Goal: To entrust all transportation tasks of empty boxes, previously carried by humans, to the robot ■ Transported Item: Cardboard boxes ■ Travel Environment: 10-15 meters, poor road conditions ■ Achievement Rate: 100%, approximately 180 round trips per day *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
