Even if there are no drainage pipes nearby and the piping route is uneven, drainage is still possible! (At a certain station building)
**Renovation Case at a Certain Station (Shizuoka Prefecture)** (1) Requirements We wanted to drain the station office, platform shop, and restaurant, but there were no drainage pipes nearby. (2) Specific Reasons for Hindrance to Requirements The drainage pipe route to connect to the drainage pipe was uneven, making it impossible to use a pump-up system. (3) Specific Design We adopted an SVD system to suction drainage to the platform with a drainage pipe. ▼ Vacuum Unit - System Decision Due to space constraints, we adopted the non-continuous suction I-2 type vacuum unit. - Installation Location Decision Installed on the existing drainage pipe platform with a fenced enclosure. ▼ Vacuum Pipeline - Route Decision The installation route was planned only through the uneven piping route under the train tracks. - Vacuum Tube Consideration A vacuum tube (pipe) was installed independently from the vacuum unit. ▼ Detection Pit - Installation Location Decision Station Office: 450×450×400H Platform Shop: 350×350×350H Restaurant: 350×450×550H - Capacity Consideration Since there is one vacuum collection tank, we planned the suction water level and alarm water level to ensure no disruption to drainage even when the system is stopped.

basic information
As a vacuum collection tank for the Silent Vacuum Drainage System, there are five types being prototyped. The continuous suction type systems include: - The "1500 type (C-1)", which has two vacuum collection tanks that operate independently and perform automatic alternating operation. - The "800 type (C-2)", which performs suction in the auxiliary collection tank while the main collection tank is discharging. - The "80-special type (C-3)", which has collection tanks installed one above the other, where the lower tank discharges while the upper tank performs suction. The non-continuous suction type systems include: - The "750 type (I-1)", which stores a volume of collected drainage considering a margin when the drainage load can be predicted and the usage time is limited, and forcibly discharges the stored drainage at a certain time to prepare for suction the next day. - The "250 type (I-2)", which is a flow-type system. In November 2018, the Silent Vacuum Drainage System Consortium was established to focus on education and public relations.

Adoption Cases - A certain high school... adopted the "800 type (C-2)." They want to renovate the men's restroom on the first floor. - A certain station building... adopted the "750 type (I-2)." They want to handle the drainage for the station office, platform shop, and restaurant, but there were no drainage pipes nearby. - Inside a certain station... adopted the "750 type (I-2)." They want to remove the individual treatment septic tanks that handle wastewater from two facilities within the station and discharge directly into the public sewer system. Additionally, there are many other achievements.
