The rod attachment and detachment during boring operations can be performed via wireless remote control. The rod handling device RHS-1B "Wadatsukami No. 1" allows for safe operation without human intervention, replacing the traditional manual labor for rod attachment and detachment. This model is a compact type that can grip a double pipe combination of the P165 outer rod and the P120 inner rod. It has now been registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's new technology information provision system NETIS (Registration Number: KT-230018).
