We would like to introduce the "duplex stainless steel products" handled by Ikeda Metal Industry Co., Ltd. These are stainless steels (duplex alloys) composed of austenitic and ferritic phases, combining the advantages of both types of stainless steel to boast excellent corrosion resistance and approximately double the strength. By refining the metal structure, the tensile strength at room temperature is increased to about twice that of conventional materials, allowing for thinner and lighter designs.
