Streamline inventory management in high workload frozen and refrigerated warehouses! Reduce working time by about 80%!
A major food manufacturer stored meat (meat boxes) on pallets in a frozen and refrigerated warehouse. They were conducting inventory, picking, and shipping operations by scanning barcodes, but working in the harsh low-temperature environment was burdensome, and they wanted to shorten the work time and improve efficiency. Therefore, RFID tags were attached to the meat boxes upon arrival. The inbound and outbound operations only require passing through the RFID GO (automatic reading gate), eliminating the need for barcode scanning. Company information
We are developing Locus Mapping (an inventory and item management system that visualizes the location of items using RFID) and RFID production and process management systems, addressing labor shortages and improving productivity in retail, manufacturing, and logistics. RFID tags have become inexpensive, costing less than 10 yen each, and can read large quantities instantly, reducing the time for inventory and shipping tasks by 80%. Previously, it was not possible to identify the location of scanned items, but our patented technology (radio wave phase analysis) enables the identification of the location of inventory and items, which can also be utilized for location management.
