In 2019, students from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich launched the Rowesys project to develop a robot that achieves more sustainable agriculture without excessive use of herbicides. The team chose the uEye+ model "GV-5040FA-C-HQ." This model is highly durable and suitable for harsh environments, meeting IP65/67 protection ratings.
