The DPI-X series has made it possible to separate the Primesense built into the currently sold DPI-10SG series, allowing it to connect to tablet PCs, Android tablets, and smartphones other than the DPI-10SG itself. The DPI-X has a recognition distance of 60cm to 3.5m, while the DPI-X SR has a recognition distance of 30cm to 2m, and there are two products that can quickly scan a wide area while moving or adjusting the sensor. It will be easy and quick to perform 3D scanning using a wide range of devices, including installation on Surface Pro and other business tablets, as well as on Android smartphones. The DPI-X / X SR is a 3D scanner sensor camera that has been made lighter and can be attached to any device, based on the indoor sensor "Primesense" built into the DPI-10SG / SG SR main unit. By connecting it to a handheld tablet PC, a commercial tablet, or an Android smartphone using a USB Type-C cable, it can easily be used as a handheld scanner in combination with the scanning application "Dot3D series." Of course, it can also be used in conjunction with the Intel RealSense sensor according to the application. Additionally, a multi-case for smartphones is provided, making it easier to hold with both hands, which enhances its usability as a handheld scanner. All optional products previously used with the DPI series are also available.
