Soaking the Gel Fit Rope in water for 1 hour and measuring it! Here are the results of the tests we conducted!

We would like to introduce the test results of the immersion weight change measurement of our concrete joint water stop material "Gel Fit Rope." The test involved leaving the product submerged in water and measuring its weight (measured on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 30). After installation, in a state of water pooling (still water) within the formwork, the internal bentonite did not decrease in weight. It is believed that the bentonite that leached to the surface protected the interior, preventing any weight loss. 【Summary】 ■ Test specimen: Gel Fit Rope, L=190mm, immersed in water for 1 hour and weighed (85g–87g) ■ Test content: Left submerged in water and weighed (measured on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 30) ■ Test results: No change in weight of the test specimen (100–105g) even after 30 days of immersion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
