Digital information such as electricity consumption from high-voltage smart meters used in factories and large-scale facilities is collected in real-time via the B route and sent to a cloud server. By utilizing application software on the server side, we will establish an energy management system that visualizes electricity consumption and monitors demand. ■System Configuration The system consists of the IoT gateway "LXG-600," which retrieves power data from high-voltage smart meters using the ECHONET Lite standard and enables FTP/MQTTS communication via the LTE network, a 4G-compatible mobile communication network, and IoT platforms such as AWS along with power monitoring applications. When controlling on-site air conditioning units, outdoor units, etc., using demand values, device control via the MQTTS protocol is possible. Note that customization to comply with the Modbus specifications of each manufacturer is required for the control of air conditioning units and similar devices.
