Delivery Case: Fukōmyō-ji Temple Administration Building

Created a sample and determined the processing shape through trial and error! A case of producing curved panel specifications.

We would like to introduce a case where our wood was supplied for the "Fukomeiji Temple Office Building," designed by Riota Design Co., Ltd. The small cedar boards were produced with suggestions from the company on how to showcase the expression of cedar and the processing shapes to make it easier to apply to curved surfaces. Despite being a special size, we considered ways to keep costs down as much as possible. After several meetings with the aesthetically conscious head priest and his wife, they were very satisfied with the ceiling finish using these small boards, and we received the compliment that it was "like a work of art."
