We conducted a mixing comparison test using plate-type (2800 series) and screw-type (Kenics type) MSE static mixers.
The Saeki-Kaide Laboratory of the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Yamaguchi University conducted stirring experiments with various static mixers. Targets: - JMS Corporation's plate-type 2800 mixer - Kenix-type static mixer (screw type) - MSE static mixer (grid type) As a result, it was confirmed that the JMS Corporation's plate-type 2800 mixer has stirring performance and pressure loss equivalent to that of the Kenix type. The plate-type mixer can stir with just one plate, making its structure simple and cost-effective. Maintenance tasks such as cleaning are also easy, allowing for minimal investment and running costs.
