PS logging (downhole method/suspension type)

"PS logging" is a method that utilizes boreholes to measure the P-wave and S-wave velocities of the surrounding ground. Compared to methods like elastic wave exploration, it allows for the acquisition of actual measured values underground. There are two types of methods: the "downhole method," where vibrations are generated at the surface and received inside the borehole, and the "suspension PS logging," where vibrations are both generated and received inside the borehole. 【Features of the Suspension Method】 ■ Vibrations are generated and received inside the borehole ■ Detailed velocity distribution can be obtained ■ The frequency of the received waveforms ranges from 500 to 2000 Hz, which is generally unaffected by normal noise ■ Effective for deeper depths ■ Measurements cannot be taken at depths shallower than the groundwater level *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
