Case study of using drones for inspecting old seismic-resistant buildings | Areas that cannot be accessed even with aerial work platforms.
Expanding the range of inspection solutions! Widely utilizing "IBIS" for waste treatment facilities, earthquake-damaged buildings, and more [Tokyo Soil Research Co., Ltd.].
Tokyo Soil Research, established in 1966, primarily focuses on ground surveys. The Structural Survey and Design Division started in 1976 with the investigation, diagnosis, and reinforcement design of old earthquake-resistant buildings. In response to customer requests, it has expanded its scope of work to include various structural surveys, diagnoses, and new structural designs. The division handles a wide range of projects, from RC (reinforced concrete) residential buildings to mid- and high-rise buildings, factories, and halls. In this context, they have introduced Liberaware's small drone 'IBIS' and have begun various initiatives. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: Inspection points that cannot be reached with scaffolding or high-altitude work vehicles ■ Key factor for introduction: High return rate that does not easily fall ■ Implementation effects: - Expanded the range of inspection solutions - Widely utilized IBIS for waste treatment facilities and earthquake-damaged buildings *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
