The person in charge of wastewater treatment equipment at the food processing plant reported challenges such as "the SS (suspended solids) concentration in the wastewater from the food processing plant is high, leading to a heavy load on the subsequent biological treatment" and "the proliferation of filamentous fungi makes it difficult for sludge to settle and aggregate." In response, we proposed adding the "Fine Arc-60," which can separate with a minimum opening of 20μm (0.02mm), after the conventional screens. After implementation, the decrease in SS concentration reduced the occurrence of bulking due to filamentous fungi proliferation, stabilizing wastewater treatment and making operational management easier.
