The highway renewal project aims to maintain the functionality of the highway network over the long term by minimizing the life cycle costs of the main structures of the highway and implementing necessary measures from the perspectives of preventive maintenance and performance enhancement. In this project, the deteriorated reinforced concrete slabs, which had progressed to cracking and delamination, were replaced with more durable precast PC slabs.
