In the Fine Materials Division, we are developing fluorine compounds with excellent optical properties and heat resistance based on the coal chemical technology we have cultivated over many years, for use in camera lenses for smartphones and semiconductor-related materials. We also propose solutions to the challenges of metal surfaces in industrial equipment used under harsh conditions, and we provide contract processing for surface treatments that demonstrate outstanding effectiveness in non-stick and wear-resistant components. 【Business Overview】 ■ Fine Materials - We develop and manufacture various resins, including thermoplastic, thermosetting, and photo-curable resins, centered around fluorine compounds with distinctive structures. These resins are particularly excellent in optical properties and heat resistance, contributing to the advancement of high functionality for smartphone camera lenses, liquid crystal display materials, and semiconductor-related materials. - Additionally, we offer the production and sale of compatibilizers that allow normally difficult-to-mix resins such as PE and PET to blend, as well as flow enhancers for high-viscosity resins. ■ Surface Treatment Processing - We conduct contract processing focused on non-stick properties for metal surfaces and resin materials.
