In Yamanashi Prefecture, with the establishment of new embankment roads, it became necessary to preserve the environment of residential areas along the route after the road opened. Therefore, the "WIB method" was implemented directly beneath the road. A running test using a backhoe was conducted before and after the measures (before road construction).
