The SSG07 series is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) optical hybrid cable.
The SSG07 series is a USB (Type A-C) optical hybrid extension cable that adopts the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. It is exclusively for USB 3.2 Gen 2/1 (USB 3.0) and does not have backward compatibility with USB 2.0 or 1.1. The transfer speed is 10 Gbps, and this high-speed transfer can be extended up to 30 meters. However, if the connected device is of a lower version, communication will occur at the speed of the connected device. The extension source (host side) has a USB Type-A male connector, while the extension destination (device side) has a Type-C male connector. With a diameter of 4.5 mm, it is resistant to bending and tangling, making it easy to handle. The SSG07 series operates with both "self-power" and "bus power." External storage devices of the bus power type, which do not have an external power source, can also operate directly.
