■Details of Processing Technology Chromium is deposited through electroplating. It is also referred to as hard chrome or HCr. This treatment excels in wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The film is formed by immersing in a plating bath. Depending on the conditions, thick film finishing and double plating may also be possible. The adhesion is not very good.
