Due to resin remaining in the mold for resin molding (170×400×40H), it has been causing burrs, so we have been manually peeling off the resin. We received a request to make it easier to peel off, as this cleaning process is labor-intensive. Points and Issues: - Hard chrome plating was used. It is subjected to a temperature of 180°C. - Cleaning is done after blowing compressed air, followed by washing with an acidic liquid.

We proposed a film formation using fine particles and a low-friction coefficient diamond-like treatment. Points: 1. Since the treatment temperature is below 60°C, there is almost no distortion due to heat, allowing for thin film treatment that does not compromise surface roughness. 2. The softening rate due to heat is also low, maintaining a hardness of HV800 at 400°C, ensuring stable surface conditions. 3. The diamond-like material also has excellent chemical resistance, so it poses no problems even with acidic cleaning solutions.
