The "KG Caisson Cutter Sediment Removal Device" is a technology that removes sediment from the bottom of the cutter during the installation of open caissons using the jet flow from an underwater pump. With approximately ten times the water volume and significant jet force compared to conventional water jets, this device can also handle the installation in hard sandy soil layers. By attaching a 90° elbow to the underwater pump, downward jet discharge is achieved. 【Work Procedure】 1. Lower the main unit to the blade opening position while placing the guide roller against the side wall. 2. Operate the pump to discharge the jet stream and move the main unit up and down several times to remove the soil at the blade opening. 3. After temporarily stopping the pump, operate the mixer and move the pump cart forward. 4. Restart the pump to remove the soil at the back of the blade opening. 5.
