Evaluation of individual test specimens! Test results for "Silicolloy A2-OAG" and "SUS440" are published.
This document includes a comparison of single specimens and test bodies assembled with bolts and nuts in a dissimilar metal contact corrosion test, as well as comparisons of precipitation-hardened stainless steel and various types of stainless steel. The test bodies with bolts and nuts were combined and immersed in tap water at 65°C, and for comparison, single specimens (plate-shaped test pieces) were also evaluated. After 45 days of immersion, the test pieces were removed and photographs were taken. Please take a moment to read it. 【Contents】 ■ Test Method ■ Test Equipment ■ Test Specimen (Single) ■ Test Specimen (Bolt-Nut Combination) ■ Test Results (Single) ■ Test Results (Bolt-Nut Combination) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Silicolloy is a revolutionary new material that contains a large amount of silicon (silicon) and was developed using pure domestic technology. Silicolloy is a super alloy that possesses high strength, heat resistance (high-temperature oxidation resistance), corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high hardness, and low dimensional changes during heat treatment, all in one steel. Currently, many engineers (technicians and designers) are advancing its commercialization, contributing to new product development and total cost reduction through increased longevity. There is 'Silicolloy A2', which excels in overall balance as a precipitation-hardened stainless steel, and 'Silicolloy XVI', which has the highest hardness in the world as a precipitation-hardened type. Those who require both corrosion resistance and high hardness should not miss it!
