Considering the structure of English, expressing the meaning of the original Japanese text in English requires thinking from an English perspective from the start and constructing the English translation accordingly, which results in higher quality translations. We base our pricing on the number of characters in the easily understandable "original text," allowing our clients to easily calculate costs. (Estimates are free.) For Word documents, we count characters using the character count function. For documents in formats other than Word, the counting method may vary, so please consult with our translation coordinator for details. Additionally, for highly specialized fields such as medical/healthcare papers, contracts, patents, technology, finance, law, and pharmacy, we may charge additional fees depending on the level of specialization required.
