This is an electromagnetic release that allows the normally closed fire door to be opened and held open at any time. The magnetic adhesion can be easily pulled apart by hand!
The "Magnet Door Holder" is an electromagnetic release designed for normally closed fire doors, operating continuously with power. It is an excellent product that can be used not only in new constructions but also for retrofitting and renovation work after completion. By using electromagnetic magnet adhesion to attach the magnet plate on the door side to the main unit, it allows the normally closed fire door to be opened and held at any time. Although it is continuously powered, the magnet can be manually pulled away, allowing the door to be closed at will. The adhesion force is approximately 13kg to 15kg, making it easy to operate with light force. Additionally, if a one-shot off push button switch is installed separately, it can be conveniently operated remotely and is effective in preventing door warping. With a separately sold power supply (control panel), it can interlock and control heat and smoke detectors, signal lines, 100V power supply, and the automatic closing of door closers. In the event of a fire, the power supply, upon receiving a fire alarm signal, will become de-energized, releasing the electromagnetic magnet adhesion of the "Magnet Door Holder," allowing the door to close fully through the automatic closing mechanism of the door closer. Once the power supply is restored, it can return to its normal operating state.
