You can create a "concentration space" even without a private room.
Yokoyama's "Therapeutic Desk" is a set of desk and chair designed for use in facilities such as child development support and after-school day services for therapeutic activities.
You can create a focused space anywhere, so individual therapy can be conducted without increasing the number of instructors.
The "Therapeutic Desk" features a flexible partition that can be opened and closed. It allows for face-to-face instruction when opened from the front, writing instruction when opened from the side, and independent study when closed, enabling a seamless transition between different learning environments. Combined with a simple design free of unnecessary decorations, it creates a calm atmosphere for learning. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
【Therapeutic Facility A】4-year-old boy with autism Effects began to appear in 2 to 3 weeks. After about 2 to 3 weeks of sitting at the therapeutic desk, he was able to sit down. By the time he had used it for about 2 months, depending on his condition that day, he was able to sit on a regular chair for therapy, and he no longer ran away even when he wasn't interested. While using both the therapeutic desk and a regular chair, we are aiming for graduation from the therapeutic desk. For him, securing his own space may have been a way to feel calm. Without the therapeutic desk, one-on-one instruction in a private room would be essential, and it is expected that he would run around even in a private room, making it impossible to observe the behavior of other children. 【Therapeutic Facility C】3-year-old boy with hyperactivity He has started to sit happily. He used to run away when he wasn't interested, even while sitting, but he has been able to sit at the therapeutic desk. Perhaps due to the sense of security from having his own space, he has started to sit happily.
