The AF40 model, which previously could only use tools with a spindle such as carbide bars, spindle-mounted electroplated grinding wheels, and spindle-mounted brushes, can now utilize an electric disc grinder, expanding the range of deburring options. ■ Automation of the grinding process with robots is possible! By using the float mechanism of the AF40 model, small robots can now use disc grinders, broadening the possibilities for deburring automation. ■ The electric disc grinder is made by HiKOKI! The electric disc grinder installed on the Thunder Unit SU-001 is the HiKOKI G10SH7.
