Crown Industrial Co., Ltd. was one of the first companies in Japan to start leasing "vertical simple earth retention" in 1976 (Showa 51), and with the cooperation of many civil engineering contractors, we have worked to promote the method and ensure safe construction. Currently, it has been incorporated into the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Guidelines for Earth Retention Preceding Methods," and almost all excavation work is now carried out using "vertical simple earth retention." We are grateful for the cooperation of the contractors in achieving this. Additionally, our Ground Improvement Division conducts ground improvement work using the "crushed stone pile method," which employs natural stone. The "crushed stone pile method" is an environmentally friendly ground improvement technique that enhances ground stability without emitting any environmental pollutants, and it has been adopted by many builders and clients.
