Ceiling inspection openings with a 45-minute semi-fire-resistant structure that do not pose a fire safety issue even when installed on fireproof covering lines [Special column now available].
■Ensuring the Continuity of Fireproof Coating The fireproof performance of our conventional products (made of aluminum) is approximately 28 minutes (according to our test values), so it is possible that continuity of fireproof coating cannot be ensured in quasi-fireproof structures or reinforced ceilings. By using a fireproof ceiling inspection opening, continuity of fireproof coating can be secured. ■Simplification of Construction To ensure the continuity of fireproof coating, there are cases where various methods are employed, such as providing a site-manufactured box-shaped fireproof coating above the ceiling inspection opening; however, the measures for fireproof coating have become a burden on the site. This product eliminates the need for a box-shaped fireproof coating, leading to a reduction in construction labor on site. ■Ensuring High Airtightness A recess is provided to maintain the elasticity of the airtight material.
