Here, we introduce a case requested by a customer. 【Overview】 ■Background of Implementation The keyboard terminal was adopted as a dedicated accessory for the customer's package solution product, the "Vein Authentication Computer Time Recorder." ■Key Points of Implementation The time recorder operates on a computer and prevents proxy clocking by identifying individuals through finger vein recognition. It can be used as a time recorder during clock-in and clock-out, and as a regular computer at other times, making it economical. The selection of clock-in and clock-out, as well as the entry of ID codes, can be done with a single touch on the dedicated keyboard. The one-touch keys for clocking in and out can be freely set by the customer. ■Effects of Implementation Mouse operations can now be substituted with one-touch keyboard operations, improving usability. In stores with high turnover of employees and part-timers, clocking operations have become smoother. Even those unfamiliar with computer operations can now perform clocking tasks.
