Ensure the distance between reference points during specimen installation! Easy specimen installation to enhance productivity.
The "2716-00x / 2736-00x series" is a manually operated wedge grip designed for easy attachment, alignment, and positioning of test specimens. After the test specimen is attached, the gripping force increases as the test load increases. The structure of the grip body allows for movement, which effectively eliminates any initial load during the attachment of the test specimen. It prevents slipping of the test specimen and is particularly suitable for testing high-strength materials such as metals and composites. 【Features】 ■ Available in 100kN (10,000kgf) and 150kN (15,000kgf) options ■ Quick attachment and detachment of test specimens ■ Easy attachment of test specimens to enhance productivity ■ Self-tightening wedge structure prevents slipping of the test specimen ■ Interchangeable faces accommodate a wide range of test specimen shapes and types *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Instron was founded in 1946 by Harold Hindman and George Bahl, who were conducting joint research at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) at the time. They developed the world's first electromechanical (screw-type) universal testing machine. The name "Instron" is derived from "instrument" and "electronics." Instron's product range offers diversity that can cater to almost all global markets and industries, and since its establishment, over 70 years of testing technology and manufacturing experience have been built, with more than 50,000 systems operating worldwide. In 1965, Instron Japan was established to support customers in Japan. Currently, it has major bases in the United States, Europe, and Asia, providing sales and services in 40 languages through agents in 160 countries around the world.
