【Veneer Revolution】Shinnoki Prefinished Veneer Decorative Panels On this page, we will introduce three types from the four lineups of Shinnoki: ■ Nightfall - Stardust Walnut - Chocolate Oak - Raven Oak ■ What is Shinnoki? In Japan, the art of veneer lamination, coloring, and finishing is considered a craft. We utilize a fully automated line from Belgium for consistent production in our factory. In furniture manufacturing, by cutting and edge-banding decorative panels like low-pressure melamine boards, it is possible to easily produce high-quality decorative panels and furniture components in a short time frame. We use urethane acrylate paint on both sides and perform UV irradiation six times, resulting in a high-quality finish that retains the natural texture of the wood. In Japan, a typical veneer thickness of 0.2mm is used, but this product employs a veneer three times that thickness, allowing for an overwhelming presence of wood grain to create a distinctive space.
